About the Author

Narendra Nath Bhattacharyya M.Sc., Ph.D. is former Professor and Head of the Department of Geography, Gauhati University. He is ex-President of North East India Geographical Society and also Ex-vice president of North East India council of Social Science Research. His contribution include one research monograph, 10 books including 2 c-edited volumes, over 60 research papers in different journals and supervision of 15 doctoral degrees.
