About the Authors	Dr. Kamla Prasad, born on 15th February, 1949, did his B.A. Hons. and M.A. in Geography from the University of Ranchi and Ph.D. from the University of Burdwan. He worked about 20 years at B.S.K. College, Maithon (Ranchi University) and then moved to the Department of Geography, Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag. He was Head of the Department of Geography and Dean Student's Welfare, Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag. Dr. Prasad has a brilliant academic career. He is a geography Scholar of repute and has immensely enriched geographical literature through books and research papers on various themes. He is associated with several national and state level geographical associations. He has organised symposia, seminars and workshops to enlarge the understanding of geography.
